On July 1, 2024, the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University hosted a workshop “Protection of the Rights of National Minorities and Indigenous Peoples in Ukraine on the Way to Approximation to EU Standards”. The event was organized by the European University Institute (Florence, Italy), Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University (NLU) (Kharkiv, Ukraine), Università di Genova (Genoa, Italy).

Representatives of the Center participated in the online course SYSTEM INNOVATION organized by the UniCities team, which took place on June 20-21.

This training allowed participants to deepen their understanding and application of the concepts and principles of systemic innovation. Specific examples were considered that can be adapted to their own context, in particular in the work on the transition to sustainable development and the reconstruction of Ukrainian cities.

Uninterrupted power supply is essential for the functioning of critical infrastructure, including water utilities, hospitals, etc. The constant shelling has caused suffering to the residents of the communities, while the municipalities are struggling to restore basic services such as water, heating and electricity.
